Report a case of theft
How to get a Police Report
1. Go to Tourist Police Station
－If you have your passport or ID, bring it.
2. Explain your case of theft
－When
－Where
－What you lost （Item, Brand, Value, etc.）
－By Whom （Information of criminal）
－Your Contact (Hotel, TEL, e-mail, etc.)
3. Wait your first documents get ready
4. Check the documents and sign them
5. Pay service charge at bank.
Only you can use "Banco de Nacion". It costs S7.60-
－When you got to the counter, say
"Pago de la Copia Certificada denuncia".
6. Show your payment certification to the police.
7. Police will print your document out.
－Person in charge of police will sign your document.
8. Sign your document again.
1. If you can’t find tourist police, also you can ask to national police. Normally Tourist Police Station is located in the center of city near “Plaza de Armas”.
2. If you can’t speak Spanish well, it’s a good way to bring a document in which you write the details of your accident.
5. For the payment, you can pay in “Caja Tacna”, too. The bank is always busy for that you can save your time to wait.
