Typical dishes and beverages in Tacna

 

Tacna offers visitors local dishes.

For example, “El picante a la Tacneña” this is a main food which started cooking during the pacific war. And “La patazca Tacneña” is a soup. Both belong to this region. Then “Pastel de Choclo” is a sweet cake from Pachia. It made with corn, peanuts and raisins.

To drink, Tacna produced “Wine” and ”Pisco” in the local vineyards. You can visit some vineyards for tasting. And you can’t miss “Damasco” which is a liquor with apricots.
